Happy Christmas to everyone! And a look back over the year.

Another year has nearly gone! What a busy year it has been! Here are a few photos of what’s been happening at Coldharbour during 2018.

We hope you enjoy them. 🙂

The year started very cold. In fact, we had a good measure of snow making the landscape pristine white. Great opportunities for some wonderful photography.

The frozen lake – or more like a pond!

Best place to stay was warm inside the cottage. Light a fire and keep cosy.

Then we had an exciting time in March when some radio experts came and setup their mast and transmitter at Coldharbour Cottage.

The group called the Drowned Rats were part of an international competition to see who could transmit signals the furthest within a 48 hour time period. Apparently they came out on top and won an award for sending signals as far away as Germany!

After that came the long, very hot summer but we still had time to see the lovely roses in the cottage garden.

The autumn saw us having a good clear up on the farm – more to do next year I have been told!

In October I set off for London to collect an award – the Rose 2018 Award for Excellence in Customer Service of which we were jolly proud!

Finally, we embarked on Project 4 – building a new barn for the farm. All very exciting.

Have a Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year!

See you all  next year (we hope), bookings being taken for summer holidays already!
