Happy Easter from Coldharbour

The world seems very different to what it was just a few weeks ago. Many of us are witnessing the hardship and suffering from the Corona virus epidemic sweeping across the nations of the earth.

And the world now seems to stand still a little.

First of all we would like to thank you very much for all the nice words, by email, via Facebook and also by phone, which have reached us in the past few weeks.

Everything in life has a purpose, we can’t say what the background of this mysterious virus is. Perhaps it inspires us to think more carefully about our life, to question it more, to appreciate something more, to see the little things that have been forgotten.

It has become quiet at COLDHARBOUR. However, spring cannot be stopped or mixed up by a virus. The flowers and trees bloom, the grass grows and we enjoy the warm rays of the sun under a cloudless blue sky.

Soak up a lot of sun for the time “afterwards”, enjoy the hours you have gained with your families and loved ones, as we do here.

We continue to keep busy on the farm improving all areas and updating the cottage ready to serve our lovely guests once again – hopefully very soon. We will keep you updated on progress.

Sadly we know now is not the right time to travel. Any guests that have confirmed future bookings for Coldharbour Cottage and have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact me here

We are happy to reserve dates for next year on a provisional basis – subject to UK government regulations.

We send you many positive thoughts, please follow your own government guidelines, stay indoors and above all stay safe and well.

Best wishes

Coldharbour Team
